As part of my role at ATT, a governmental institution overseeing telecommunications, transportation, and postal services, I was tasked with developing the official image for the "Portabilidad Numérica" project. This initiative aimed to implement mobile number portability, enabling customers to retain their phone numbers when switching between mobile network carriers. The project encompassed the creation of a comprehensive graphic system for various communication materials, including informative campaigns and television spots broadcasted nationally. With the potential to significantly impact consumer choice and competition within the telecommunications sector, the "Portabilidad Numérica" project represented a critical milestone in enhancing consumer rights and fostering a more dynamic marketplace.

Approach

Approaching the development of the official image for the "Portabilidad Numérica" project required a strategic and multifaceted approach. Central to this approach was a thorough understanding of the project's objectives, target audience, and regulatory framework. Leveraging insights from market research and stakeholder consultations, I collaborated closely with internal teams to conceptualize a compelling visual identity that effectively communicated the benefits and mechanisms of mobile number portability. Emphasizing clarity, accessibility, and relevance, I crafted a comprehensive graphic system designed to resonate with diverse consumer segments and foster widespread understanding and adoption of the initiative. Moreover, recognizing the importance of effective communication across multiple channels, I orchestrated the development of informative campaigns and television spots tailored to reach audiences through both traditional and digital media platforms.

Design and Lesson Learned

In executing the design for the "Portabilidad Numérica" project, I prioritized simplicity, consistency, and impact. Each element of the graphic system was meticulously crafted to convey key messages concisely and memorably, while adhering to established brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. By leveraging a harmonious color palette, intuitive typography, and engaging visual elements, I sought to instill confidence and trust in consumers regarding the benefits of mobile number portability.
